Search Engine That Doesn’t Track You?

April 5, 2017

By now you have heard that Congress gave the right to our internet providers to track our online activities and sell the information, despite the creepy Big Brother aspect of this.  Why should these big, rich companies make money off of our information?  Is there anyone in the club that couldn’t use the money?

I have been aware for over a year of a search engine called DuckDuckGo that bills itself as the search engine that doesn’t track you.  Evaluating this claim is beyond my skills, but it definitely works as a search engine.

I haven’t used it extensively as it isn’t as slick as Bing.  But you shoud be aware that it’s out there.
