California Telephone Access Program

The California Deaf and Disabled Telecommunications Program (DDTP) provides telephone access for all deaf and disabled Californians.  This includes not only hearing impaired, but sight impaired and mobility impaired.  They offer free specialized phones,  such as big button phones, speech to text, etc., that make it easier to hear, easier to dial, and easier to call.

Reach them through their web site, Deaf and Disabled Telecommunications Program or call them at (800) 806-1191 M-F 7:00 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
