How does one find out about taking Mah Jongg classes?

    • Senior classes are listed in our long newsletter, published bi-monthly. In addition, Walnut Creek Arts & Rec catalog publishes them in its catalog under the categories Adults 50+. The catalog is available at the Walnut Creek libraries and city locations around town. If you call 925-943-5851 or come in to the Civic Park Community Center between 9:00 am the receptionist will be able to help you.

Do you have any travel programs?

    • At present, we have one day tour a month, and 4 open extended (multi-day) tours. Travel information is listed in our big newsletter, published bi-monthly. See the posts on the main page for links to the online newsletter. Detailed travel brochures for the extended trips are at Civic Park Community Center. Our insurance requires that you must be a member of the Walnut Creek Senior Club to go on trips. Members receive a newsletter every month. If you call 925-943-5851 or come in to the Civic Park Community Center between 9:00 am the receptionist will be able to help you.

Do you rent out rooms for wedding receptions? I’m looking for prices. The dates February 1st 2020.

    • The city owns all the rental rooms. There is a link to the Walnut Creek city site in the right column under SENIORS Walnut Creek City Site. Look under Parks and Recreation for more information.
